23.05 pounds of solid Turquoise all in one nugget. That's about 10,455 grams! A rare opportunity... and one heck of a conversation piece. This large stone features nice aqua greens and a light stony matrix so it would be great for cabbing or carving. It will return a high yield when cut but it is also very impressive in this natural state. It's full of potential for a carver. This giant Turquoise nugget comes from the Alacran Mine in Mexico and has been stabilized to protect the color over time. This specimen has awesome undulating nugget curves and crevices all around with some highly sought after Turquoise greens. Overall dimensions are 16" tall x 12" wide x 3" to 4" thick. This stone is straight from the mine and photographed dry. The second to last photo is an example of this same Turquoise tumble polished to show the bright color and quality contained within this huge nugget. Don't let the dull outer skin fool you, it is the same type of Turquoise and the polished example looked very similar before it was polished.
