These stabilized, Genuine Nevada #8 Turquoise Rough Nuggets are ready to be cut, shaped & polished. You can see some of the gorgeous colors that lie within the rough surface. Your purchase is a mixture of nuggets in generally uniform shapes and sizes ranging from 1/2" up to 1-1/4" inches. The average size would be about 1". Because Turquoise is porous in its natural state, most stones are stabilized. This hardens it & makes the natural color permanent...it's a good thing!
