Green Turquoise Rough Nuggets Alacran 1-1/4" Average One Pound Lot
Green Turquoise in the raw, you decide how it's cut, the shapes and sizes are all up to you. Don't be fooled by the dull outer layer! The color of this rough Turquoise is far more brilliant. The color of these nuggets falls on the green side of the Turquoise spectrum, from a bright aquamarine to a cool green with caramel color motherstone and inclusions. This mine run from Alacran has a wide range of character, from spider-webbing to solid color. These are solid, chunky nuggets with a consistent size and will have a great yield after cutting. The last photo of an inlay bracelet was set with this same type of stone, it demonstrates the bluer end of the spectrum for these nuggets, the other end being more green. This stone was photographed dry. There are three sizes larger than this lot but these nuggets are still fairly large, they average 1-1/4" wide in consistently shaped, roundish nuggets. Overall, they range from 1" up to over 2" long in one direction. They are sorted by size and shape, not weight. This rough turquoise is stabilized to prevent reacting to the environment and preserve the color. You will receive 1 pound of Green Turquoise Rough Nuggets from the group pictured.
