Sonora Turquoise Rough Nuggets 1/2" Average One Pound Lot
The gentle blue-greens in this lot of Sonora Turquoise Rough Nuggets have that calming, totally zen energy. The bright sky blue to aqua green colors swirl and mix with golden caramel mother stone. They range in size from 1/2" down to 1/4" in length in one direction and are sorted by overall size, not weight or shape. This turquoise rough has great hardness, but is stabilized to prevent reacting to the environment and preserve the color. You will receive 1 pound of Sonora Turquoise Rough Nuggets from the group pictured. We have taken some some of these nuggets and cut cabochons to show the quality color and type of matrix this stone produces when cut and polished. Please allow for occasional chips smaller than 1/4" that evaded screening. We use this same turquoise for inlay jewelry, cabs, and Turquoise carvings. This Turquoise is photographed dry. Each 1 pound lot is different and the number and size of stones will vary.
