Fox Turquoise Rough Nuggets One Pound Lot
Aqua sky blues are complimented by black spiderwebbing matrix in these genuine Fox Turquoise Nuggets from the Fox mine in Nevada. The greenish blue color is pretty consistent throughout but the motherstone varies from black to golden brown, occasionally resembling Number 8. They range in size from 3/8" up to 1" in length in the long direction and the shapes are pretty consistent. The majority are between 1/2" and 3/4". These smaller nuggets are easy to turn into cabochons, they do not require a lot of cutting, time or making waste. They have also been tumble polished to remove excess host rock and loose edges. This turquoise is stabilized to prevent reacting to the environment and preserve the color. You will receive 1 pound Fox Turquoise Rough Nuggets from the group pictured. This Turquoise is photographed dry. Each 1 pound lot is different and the number and size of stones will vary.
