Turquoise Nuggets Tumbled Matte Finish Green Blue Flats 1/4 Pound Lot
These real Turquoise nuggets are tumbled with a matte finish. They have high grade blue-green range of color, a two-part harmony between notes of blue and green. Many of the nuggets in this lot are more flat than round. Sometimes referred to as "flats", this type of nugget can be made into nugget style cabochons very easily by sticking them into Devcon epoxy as backing. They are also especially useful for projects that require more surface area. The nugget textures and occasional pyrite inclusions have survived the tumbling process, preserving the character and personality of the gems. The Sonoran desert relinquished this quality Turquoise in 6mm to 17mm sizes. The vast majority are in the 7mm to 10mm range. The measurements are taken from the long side of the nuggets. Check the photos to get an idea of the consistency of the size range and color. Stabilized to protect the color for a lifetime.
