Large Number 8 Green Turquoise Rough High Grade Sliced One Pound Lot
Pre-Sliced so you can see what your getting and save time! This Number 8 Turquoise Rough has a unique character with blues and green gradients intermixed with a smokey or honey brown matrix. The smokey, spiderweb patterns and nodules float across each Number 8 Turquoise slab like clouds in the sky. The color and patterns of Number 8 Turquoise have made it a favorite centerpiece in high end southwest and Native American jewelry. We use Number 8 Turquoise in some of our top selling jewelry designs. This sliced Turquoise has been grouped and graded based on color and character, not size, so the range of sizes varies from 3/4" up to 3-1/2". They average in thickness between 8mm and 10mm. We will do our best to provide a good range of sizes and be fair with the distribution of larger and smaller to give you the highest possible yield when cutting gemstones. Check out the last photo to see a general example of Number 8 when cabbed and finished. The stones are photographed dry in all of the photos and these stones will polish up much brighter and shinier. This turquoise has great hardness, but is stabilized to prevent reacting to the environment and preserve the color. You will receive 1 pound of Number 8 Turquoise Slices from the group pictured. Each 1 pound lot is different and the number and size of stones will vary.
