Huge Real Turquoise Specimen Aqua Green 8.95 Pounds Giant Nugget
This chunky Huge Real Turquoise Nugget is 8.95 Pounds of solid Turquoise, that's 4,060 grams! A rare opportunity... and one heck of a conversation piece. This large stone features bright aqua greens and a light golden matrix that appear to be very consistent throughout so it would also be great for carving, cutting, lapidary or cabbing. It will return a high yield when cut but it is also very impressive in this natural state. It's like a blank canvas for a carver or sculptor. This giant Turquoise nugget comes from the Alacran Mine in Mexico and has been stabilized to protect the color over time. This specimen has awesome undulating nugget curves and crevices on top with a large flat facade on the both sides which could be great for windowing off and polishing to showcase the color and character. Overall dimensions are 8.75" long x 7" wide x 5.5" deep. Photographed dry just as it came from the mine. The second to last photo is an example of this same Turquoise tumble polished to show the bright color and quality contained within this huge nugget. It is the same type of Turquoise and looked the same before polishing.
