Blue Turquoise Rough Nuggets Alacran One Pound Lot
Hand sorted by Navajo jeweler Andrew Lincoln, these Blue Turquoise Nuggets were selected for their bright sky-blue to aqua color. These nuggets have also been sorted by size to maximize yield for the intended use. They have a honey brown matrix, that mixes with the bright aquamarine hues with gradients and swirls. These hefty chunks will have a great yield after cutting with very little unusable sections. Check out the last photo of an inlay bracelet done with this stone that demonstrates the quality after cutting and polishing. This stone was photographed dry. This lot is the smaller of the three size groups but most of the stones are fairly large ranging from 1/2" up to 2" long in one direction. Consisting of mostly solid chunks with a lots of thick slab forms and a few flats. This rough turquoise is stabilized to prevent reacting to the environment and preserve the color.
