Traditional 2 Band Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Naja 2-1/2" Wide
If you've ever seen squash, pumpkins or watermelons growing in the garden, then you'll recognize the shape of this traditional Navajo Sterling Silver Squash Blossom Necklace Naja. The entire curved crescent is the squash and the Fleur-de-lis looking top part is what remains of the flower that bore the fruit. Components inspired and passed on over time from the Spanish have taken on a different meaning and tradition among southwest Native American tribes. This design is 2-1/2" wide by 2-11/16" tall. This squash is made from a hand crafted original by our silversmiths and then cast from Sterling Silver here in the shop. It measures 1-1/4" long by just under 3/4" wide. This Navajo Squash Blossom Naja will get your Squash Blossom Necklace extra style points.
