Like pieces of the sky contained in rock, this lot of Turquoise Nuggets is a very sky blue find of Sonoran Gold Turquoise. The color and quality is very similar to Sleeping Beauty Turquoise! These gemstones have a healthy portion of pyrite inclusions which is common among Campitos and Sonoran Turquoise in general. And, they are very nuggetity with lots of texture and crevices. It looks like a lot of the stones will have a dark spiderwebbing when cut as cabochons, similar to Ithaca Peak or Landers. These will also make great cabs with nugget finish on the top. The desert mountains provided these sky blue mirrors of the southwest in sizes ranging from 3/4" to 1-1/2" inches. Stabilized to prevent reacting to the environment and preserve the color.
