This lot of natural Turquoise Heishi Disc Beads have that character and style similar to the Turquoise necklaces worn by the original peoples of the southwest before European influence. A light stony matrix with occasional pyrite crystals make each bead of this untreated Turquoise a natural work of art. The variety of shapes and inclusions is captivating, it's like there's a story in each bead. These were tumbled and polished to preserve the earthy nugget feel while creating a heavy gauge Heishi. This is all natural Turquoise, not treated or stabilized. These large Heishi beads are 7mm wide, please allow for a 1mm variance in width. The discs vary in thickness which creates the old world feel, anywhere between 2mm to 5mm thick.
